Lynn Schultz Kehoe – Founder and CEO, Racer and Instructor
Lynn Schultz Kehoe founded Shift Up Now in 2016 after being bit by the racing bug. She started racing in 2015 after spending 3 years moving up the ranks in High Performance Driving Education (HPDE) programs. She attended her first “track day” through a charity auction win and was hooked. Lynn earned her first competition license through the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), had a Time Trial license with National Auto Sports Association (NASA), and ice raced with the Adirondack Motor Enthusiast Club AMEC). She now holds several club racing licenses. Lynn also trained at LeMans, France, attending a Porsche Driving School Stage GT3 RS.
Lynn started Shift Up Now and serves as its CEO. As one of the few female racers, she recognized many similarities between her professional career (in mostly male dominated fields) and her newfound hobby of auto racing. Her goal for Shift Up Now: use motorsports to show girls and women how to develop courage and confidence so they will succeed in achieving their own personal and professional goals. Lynn manages Shift Up Now drivers for speaking engagements to girls and women’s groups about how their racing experiences boost their own paths in life, conducting auto-related hands on seminars and open enrollment and client specific leadership training on and off the race track.
Before ever even considering motorsports, Lynn had a successful career spanning three decades in financial services, real estate investing, business development and consulting.
Throughout her career, Lynn has been active in leading training seminars and speaking at industry conferences and events. She has been a mentor to numerous co-workers.
Lynn has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics from The American University.
She currently serves as Chair on the Board of Trustees for Stoneleigh-Burnham School, a girl’s private college preparatory school. She has served on the Advisory Board of the University of Pennsylvania Institute on Aging, and the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women ( Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee). Lynn participates in various philanthropic and charitable organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
