Mandy McGee – Racer
Mandy McGee, a Duluth MN native, didn’t discover her true passion for the race track until her 30s when she attended her first NASA DE event as a novice student. Since that spring weekend in 2010, it’s been full speed ahead. After working her way up thru the run group ranks to the Advanced level, the natural progression from there was to take her turn at educating and encouraging others thru instructing. After receiving her HPDE Instructor Certification from BMW Car Club of America in 2013 she served as an instructor at various BMW DE Club events, as well as Acura NSX and NASA events. Also, in 2013, she stepped even further out of her comfort zone and registered for her very first 8-hour Endurance Race at Brainerd International Raceway. The level of competition and team event atmosphere were a natural fit and she was immediately hooked. In 2016 she received her NASA Competition License and has since raced with NASA, World Race League, Champ Car and Lucky Dog League at many major race tracks including: Watkins Glen International, Road America, Sebring International Raceway, Circuit of the Americas and Daytona International Raceway.
