16 year old Emily Linscott from Essex, United Kingdom started karting in 2016. She won her first championship at the end of that year, and was scouted by Arden International for their Young Racing Driver Academy (YRDA).
She began racing cars in the ultra-competitive Ginetta Junior Championship in August 2017, and then competed in the full season in 2018 securing 10th place in the Rookie Series. The day after she flew to Circuit Paul Ricard to drive an F4 France car in the Volant Winfield competition.
